Paulette 1974-75 Paulette Simair - 1952 - 3 years old
Paulette Anne Marie Simair was born January 20, 1949, in Yorkton, Saskatchewan, Canada to Joseph and Pauline Simair. She lived with her sisters, brother and parents on a farm approximately 10 miles north of the town of Springside, Saskatchewan for the first thirteen years of her life. She participated with the rest of her family in doing the daily chores on the family farm. She attended the one-room country schools of Homestead and Good Luck for grades 1 to 8. In 1962 she became a resident of Sacred Heart Academy in Yorkton in order to completeher high school education and graduated in 1966.

Paulette married Joseph Douglas Wayne Campbell in Yorkton, Saskatchewan on August 22, 1970. Joe was born in Regina, Saskatchewan on May 20, 1947. Paulette met Joe when she had a summer job at thet Sanitarium in Fort Qu'Appelle in 1967. Joe and Paulette attended the University of Regina together from 1967 to 1970. Joe graduated with a Bachelor of Administration Degree in 1970 and Paulette graduated with a Bachelor of Education Degree in 1971. Joe and Paulette lived in Regina until 1973 and during their in Regina, Joe worked for the Saskatchewan Treasury Department and Paulette taught at Success Business College. In 1973 Joe's career change took him to the Northern Lights School Division in Prince Albert and Paulette acquired a job teaching with the Prince Albert Regional College in Prince Albert.

Joe and Paulette's daughter Alison Leanne Campbell was born in Prince Albert on November 14, 1974, and their son, Craig David Campbell on September 19, 1978. The Family of four enjoyed camping and spent many summers at Waskesiu Lake and Candle Lake, north of Prince Albert. They also enjoyed traveling together and took trips into British Columbia, Alberta, the northern States, Arizona, California, Ontario, Quebec, France and Scotland.

Joe, Paulette and family have lived in Prince Albert since 1973. Paulette worked with the Prince Albert Regional College and SIAST post-secondary training organizations from 1973 to 1998 holding teaching, program co-ordinator, training consultant, dean, and acting principal positions. Since 1998 Paulette has completed her Masters of Education with the University of Calgary and worked on consulting projects. In 1981, Joe started up his consulting business, which is still in operation, working as a Project Manager for northern construction projects and as a Financial Advisor for northern organizations in Saskatchewan.
