Memoirs by Simone
Simone was born in Yorkton, Sk. on Feb. 22, 1953. After graduating from grade 12, she obtained her diploma from the Grey Nun's School of Nursing at Regina, Sk., she worked in Melville, Yorkton, then settled in Kamsack, Sk. and worked in the hospital for 18 yrs., then obtained a job with Homecare as Assessor Coordinator for 5 yrs., Ken and Simone were married on May 26, 1979 at St. Gerald's Church, Yorkton, Sk. Ken was born in Yorkton, Sk., on Oct. 21, 1954. After graduating from grade 12, he went to Saskatoon University for a 2 yr. Farm Machinery Mechanical Course, then returned to Wroxton and farmed with his parents. He still continues to farm and raise cattle after he got married.
